Jack K Interview

Jack K

Jack began guitar lessons with Ken at age 9, and has taken lessons at Littleton Guitar School for four years. Now a teenager, he is continuing his guitar prowess and amazing friends and family with his skills.

Jack has an incredible support team from his family and it’s going to be very interesting watching where he goes with his guitar playing. Here is an interview with Jack and his learning experience with KenK at Littleton Guitar School.

LGS: How did you view guitar lessons before you started taking lessons with Littleton Guitar School?

JK: Before I started taking lessons with KenK, I viewed guitar lessons as boring, and they almost felt like school.

LGS: How has that perception about guitar lessons changed?

JK: Lessons with Ken became more like a fun jam session, but yet had enough structure to learn different techniques on guitar playing. Also, it made practicing on my own more enjoyable and fun.

LGS: Name 3 things you understand or can do now, that you didn’t understand or couldn’t do before you began guitar lessons with Littleton Guitar School:

JK:

  1. Bar Chords
  2. Soloing (pentatonic scales)
  3. Song writing

LGS: What is your favorite thing about the guitar lessons?

JK: My favorite thing about the lessons is the strong bond you have with Ken and the other students. Being with other students makes you learn how to play with other kids comfortably.

LGS: If you were to recommend me to a friend who wanted to learn to play the guitar, what would you tell them?

JK: In fact I actually did recommend Ken to my friend Zach who has been taking lessons with him recently. What I told him was that Ken can teach any style, and can makes learning fun and enjoyable. He can work with you at any pace, and can get you over any hump or hardship in guitar that you are struggling with.

LGS: Is there anything else you’d like to add?

JK: My close relationship with Ken made my love of guitar so much stronger. Ken and I are best friends when we play together. The one person that has impacted my guitar playing the most in my life is by far Ken.
